Matthew Greeley - Hurricane Relief

Our nephew Matthew Greeley lives in Panama City, Florida. He has been devastated by the affects of hurricane Michael. Matthew works as a county corrections officer and also serves the National Guard. He was activated in the National Guard the night before the hurricane hit. Matthew was charged with escorting Governor Rick Scott when they unknowingly drove up to his apartment building while surveying damage. It was mentioned to Gov Scott that Matthew lived there and when questioned in front of the press, Matthew was visibly broken up by what he saw.  Additionally,  his mother was recovering from open heart surgery performed in nearby Panama City Hospital and she was transported to Pensacola, FL due to damages at the hospital. 

Matthew's  vehicle was totaled under trees and his apartment along with just about everything in it is a total loss. Unfortunately he was not able to assess any damage at the time but was able to go back to his place yesterday and collect some paperwork from his room including his diploma and a few other small items. All of his clothing was blown away or sucked up into the roof rafters. The only clothing he has to wear currently is his National Guard Uniform.  All electronics, housewares and furniture are a total loss due to water and wind damage.

I'm hoping friends and family will find the need to reach out and help our Matthew rebuild his home. Your support and  contribution will help provide him with shelter, clothing, personal items, housewares and furniture.
