Matthew Florez Fundraiser

Matthew Florez is one of the kindest, most gentle, loving and compassionate human beings on this planet. He also happens to be the best sound engineer in Lexington, KY, having won the award for best sound engineer in our city two years running. 

Unfortunately, Matthew has had a run of bad luck lately. His spouse has been diagnosed with a serious progressive illness. This has put his family in financial distress. 

Our hopes with this gofundme is to bridge the financial gap that this situation has left in his expenses, so that Matthew can continue to do the job he loves for the community he cares about.  If you've ever been to a show at Willies' Locally Known, or Natasha's prior, you know that Matthew can be found hovering over the sound board, paying intense attention to the details that ensure the music you are hearing is of the highest caliber and clearest quality possible.

1650, which should be sufficient to cover the gofundme service fees and surcharge per donation plus leave the 1500 dollars in Matthew's pocket that he needs to pay his bills, is completely attainable through small donations from the local community. Even 5 dollars per person can make this situation turn from nightmare to dream fulfillment. Please consider helping our dear friend Matthew.
