Matthew was my son- my only child and the absolute center of my universe for 27 of the most wonderful,perfect years. After a year of the most courageous battle with pancreatic and liver cancer he departed this world for his much deserved rest on June 26, 2017 at 855 pm- with myself and other loved ones surounding him sending him love and light for his final journey- another star in my sky at night. My brave , funny ,loving , intelligent light of my life will forever be watching over me and whispering in my heart! I will miss you forever my dear Matthew- and when the tears finally stop I know I will feel you and hear your voice again- I will see you in every animal I stop to photograph- and every thing of beauty in nature that you and I shared a love for- the flowers , the tiniest of critters and the thunder storms and fresh rain. I will never be the same- but I will go on for you- because that's what you wanted me to do.
I will still watch the Senators hockey team play and cheer for them- as I know they are doing for you now.
You have made me the most proud of Moms and I will be forever thankful that I had 27 years with you. Thank you Matthew- I love you- to the moon and back. You are always in my heart and soul and mind.
These funds will help me to plan a memorial for Matthew in the best possible way - at the place he grew up in and most loved- the place that we spent so many many hours exploring together and making memories of in our photos. Home . We will walk once more together there while I scatter his remains in our special areas- where he will always be a part of the things he loved most dearly. And I will find peace and solace again with him there.
I would like to do this for him in the coming fall - 2017- when the trees will be displaying their colours in tribute to him and the air will be fresh and clean and the water sweet.
I will take care of any funds raised in Matthews' memory help pay off any of his remaining debts as I can.
