Who We Are.
The Mattahunt Elementary School is a PreK-5 Boston public school located in Mattapan, MA. Our educators, administrators, and community partners alike serve nearly 650 students, and together, we provide a space for students to advance their learning, cultivate future passions, and develop the skills necessary for success!
We Need Your Help!
Summer reading is imperative; it ensures our students maintain the incredible gains they have made during the academic year. On June 8th, every third, fourth, and fifth grade student will receive an individualized toolkit containing an appropriately leveled book and other supplies necessary to maintain student progress from the academic year. By raising $1000, we can supply more than 200 students at our school a book for the summer at no cost to them. Should we exceed our goal, we hope to expand the number of books a student can receive. With your support, our students can find the joy of reading and prepare themselves for success in the academic year ahead!
