Matt Williams, a 1997 graduate of Carroll High School, married Kristy Whetstone, a 1998 graduate of Tecumseh High School 16 years ago. They now have two young boys named Charlie and Tommy who attend Ascension School. The family also belongs to Ascension Church.
18 months ago, Matt was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer and has been fighting ever since. Unfortunately, that fight has prevented him from working anymore at his job at Dorothy Lane Market, and Kristy has had to get a job at Lock 27 to keep money coming in.
Sadly, Matt is not winning his battle with this ugly disease. Kristy and their young boys will not only inherit his remaining medical bills, but will sadly be hit with funeral costs and the reality of running a household as a single mother.
