Matt On The Move

Matt Zamborsky, 39, was recently diagnosed with an inoperable malignant mass in his foot. The surgeons recommend amputation below the knee followed by preventative chemotherapy.  Fortunately, his other scans have been clean so far. Surgery is scheduled for November 2. He will have an 8 week healing period after which he will be fitted for a prosthetic and commence therapy to adapt to his new way of life.

As a young and healthy man, this news has come as quite a shock to Matt and his family.  Matt and his wife, Tina, have absorbed a plethora of information in a short time and have remained positive and hopeful. Both are thankful for the medical team who have been working for their common goal, which is to afford Matt a long and healthy life.  Matt and Tina share 3 children and an ark of pets. They love to hike with their dogs and play tennis. They hope to continue to engage in their shared passions.

Both Matt and Tina are hard workers and loyal employees. Their coworkers have rallied to offer  support and donate vacation days to account for some of the lost work hours but, of course, they will need as much financial help as possible. Due to the high cost of health insurance premiums, they are not able to procure health insurance even with employer contribution. The medical costs ahead of them are daunting though they are trying to focus on getting Matt well. Please consider a contribution. Every bit will help the Matt On The Move initiative.
