Matt Henkelman get back on his feet

Hello. This is Brent Abdouch and I am starting this GoFundMe to help my good friend, Matt Henkelman, pay his hospital and daily/monthly bills. Matt was admitted to Sanford last Thursday and soon diagnosed with pneumonia. He was placed on a breathing tube on Saturday. He was also experiencing irregular heartbeat which has been since diagnosed as an atrial flutter. He has been in the hospital since then and is expected to be there for at least five more days. He is going to need a procedure on his heart to alleviate his atrial flutter and just need to rest and recover. Matt works with me at Taphouse and is also a Lyft driver. The majority of his income is tips. No work=no tips. As of now there is no timetable on his ability to return to work. We just want him to get out of the hospital and not feel like he needs to rush back to work. Please help out in any way if you can. If not, no worries. Thanks everyone

Update: Matt got his breathing tube taken out this morning so that is great news. He will possibly be moved out of ICU tomorrow if things trend in the right direction.

Update #2: Just saw Matt and he is doing great. He is out of the ICU and is likely going to get out of the hospital tomorrow(3/17). Thank you all for your generosity and concern. I know he's feeling financial stress and this will help alleviate that greatly. Thanks so much!

Update #3 Matt was released from the hospital on Friday. He is feeling better everyday. I know he is hoping to be able to work soon but still not quite sure when so this fundraiser will definitely help him ease back into it. Thanks again for all of your donations.
