<div>Matt and Lucy were friends to many in our business at ALD Automotive. Lucy was a bright, popular and caring friend to all who knew her, at work and in her personal life.

<div>Lucy finished work on 5th June for maternity leave, excited for the expected birth of their daughter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>News of Lucy's passing came as a great shock to us all, and we cannot start to understand the grief that Matt, Kai, and the whole family must be feeling at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, but that alone cannot support them for the coming months and costs that are needed to support the funeral and help Matt and Kai to readjust after such a tragic loss.

<div>It's taken a few weeks for me to bring myself to write this, and it breaks my heart to say that Lucy passed away suddenly on the 5th of June. Our daughter, Lyra, was also born on the 5th but due to the injuries she sustained was receiving palliative care, and sadly passed away on 4th July. Lucy was an incredible person, amazing wife, mother and friend and I know she will be missed by everyone that knew her. I can't not begin to explain the pain and heart ache that I am going through, but it brings me comfort to know that Lucy and Lyra are together, and that Lucy was loved so much by everyone that was lucky enough to know her.
