Mat funding for West Los Jiu Jitsu!

Hello everyone!

We are West Los Jiu Jitsu here in Los Angeles, California. Our goal here with this gofundme project is to raise fund for mats for our future facility. The plan is to have a minimum of 400 to 500 square feet of mat space in order to provide small group classes for beginners and adults in Gracie/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. For those that don’t know, Jiu Jitsu is a grappling based martial art that is effective for self defense and for those that compete in grappling or mma events.

All funds will be directed towards mats, mat tape, and mat cleaner. $3000 will cover our mats entirely and will allow us to pay for rent on our own much easier. The mats are an integral part of our academy and we are seeking the best quality and most price efficient mats we can find.

We seek to provide a clean and safe environment for our members as we grow. We’ve been having to rent space from various gyms around LA, but it’s time for us to have our own thing!
