Matilda raises money for the RFS!!

Recently our beautiful Matilda was overheard by a member of the QLD RFS saying that the fires were making her feel sad. Kevin, a QLD RFS firefighter turned and gave Matilda his RFS hat and told her to keep it! After the lengthy discussion that followed between Kevin and Matilda, she asked us if she could have a firefighter birthday party (due to turn 4 in February) and do something to help the animals impacted. Matilda then wrote Kevin a thank you letter and immediately handed it to him, whilst thanking him for saving the Koalas at the same time. Matilda also extended an invite to both Kevin and his colleagues to come to her party. We explained to Matilda we could set up a page like this and collect donations rather than her receive presents on the day. Her response “I feel if any one does bring me a present, I’m going to tell them NO that’s not right” gave us confidence she’s happy with this arrangement. Don’t worry, we’ll be sure to get her something! No pressure, please donate to our beautiful four year olds birthday present fund and help her help the fireys! Matilda will be having a birthday party on Feb 16th at a local park with some close friends and everyone must come dressed as a fire fighter! Happy 4th Birthday Matilda!
