EVERYONE CAN LEARN MATH
The essential purpose of the All Learners Network
is to provide access to opportunity for every student through success in mathematics
. We help schools in which students are not performing well to be successful with math instruction. In general, these are schools that serve low-income students, students of color, or students who have learning challenges.
We believe that a comprehensive approach, using the strategies and techniques already developed by the All Learners Network
could help "turn around" math departments in schools that are currently under-performing.
While some state and federal money is available for low-performing schools, All Learners Network
is realizing a need for additional funding to develop evaluation studies of techniques currently used
as well as continue to expand and complete a full range of strategies for Middle School math.
Additionally, the All Learners Network
would like to move beyond the Vermont borders, providing support to struggling schools
in high needs districts in surrounding areas. Funding is needed to address both the logistical demands of in-school coaching as well as support the continuing rapid cycle of inquiry that is the foundation of sustainability for the future success of the schools we serve. By funding the research, development, and expansion
of ongoing Specialized Math Instruction and Professional Development that supports mathematics educators, you will be helping All Learners Network
reach our goal of providing equity and opportunity to all struggling math learners.
By believing, foremost, that all
children can learn math, your support will help the All Learners Network
bring our mission to so many more districts, schools, and learners in the coming year.
We sincerely thank you for your interest and sponsorship.
