The Goldman Family are very dear friends of ours. Mandy joined the Salon Capri family at 17 years old and quickly became one of our own. We owe a great deal of gratitude to Mandy for all her years of hard work. If you know Mandy and the Goldman’s’ you know they have an infectious positivity that cannot be denied. Mandy and Nick have 4 amazing children, Leo, Mateo, Milo and Violet.

Mateo (12 years old), was diagnosed in 2016 with B cell A.L.L, a very common form of childhood leukemia. After a month of treatment Mateo failed to get into remission causing him to have a bone marrow transplant in 2017. Mateo was cancer free for 3.5 years but not without suffering from complications from the transplant. His cancer sadly came back July 2020. Mateo will have to endure several months in the hospital, chemo and a second bone marrow transplant.

This fundraiser has been established to help ease the burden on Mateo’s parents, so they can focus all their efforts on Mateo’s treatment, healing and spending precious time together.  As they face the unthinkable and do all they can to help Mateo beat cancer, if we can help alleviate some of the day to day financial pressures that will mount during this time of critical care, we too will have done our part to support them in a time of sincere need.
