Dawn Weaver family support

1SG Dawn Weaver had a sudden catastrophic event while in her quarters that ultimately led to her hospitalization on the night of 2 Dec 2017.  She has not regained consciousness and has currently been declared as having no brain activity.  Family and many military friends have been at her side around the clock to pay respect and offer support.  

Dawn is loved by so many people whose lives she has touched.  She is leaving behind siblings, children and grandchildren who have considerable expenses in the road ahead.  There will be unmet medical expenses and travel expenses for family members who are far away.  This will produce a hardship in addition to grieving their loved one in this unexpected and very difficult loss.

Dawn would and has done anything for her soldiers, friends and family members.  Whenever she felt someone was in need, she would not rest until she was able to provide resources for them to make it better.  Dawn had the knack of being able to accomplish the mission and keep people happy at the same time, and everyone felt more like family with her there. 

We who love Dawn want to offer some kind of support.  We have all decided to start this page in hopes of being able to assist with expenses of the family and offer them financial relief as well as some kind of a Christmas (especially for the children) considering the hardships they are having to endure.  

Dawns three grandsons are aged 4, 13 and 14.  They have not purchased Christmas gifts or a tree or any of the other normal holiday activities.
