Matching Funds for the Artist Catalyst Grant

Calling All Art Supporters!

Just over a year ago my life changed dramatically in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic shutdown. I left my previous life in the Bay Area and moved to my ancestral lands in Iowa.

Life unfolded this year, opening a new direction for me as a ceramic artist. Following trust and my passion for art, I have hit a few major milestones:

1. Built my ceramic studio on our family farm.
2. Voted “People’s Choice” at the Elkader Art in The Park Festival.
3. Received the Artist Catalyst Grant for August 2022 for my Sunseed Ceramic Impressions series. This funding is provided by the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts and will be used to purchase a slab roller.

I am seeking funding to match this grant. All funds will be used to purchase a slab roller and equipment to increase ergonomics, efficiency, and production. 

The first 22 people to donate $100 or more will receive a one of a kind sunflower impression gift.
