With your contribution you make it possible that we can continue to make beautiful music for you, record new music and realize special projects. Both during and after this period. Matangi, had a well-filled agenda for 2020 and 2021. As a result, the consequences of the corona measures are particularly hard on us. As far as we can now see, the damage is more than half of our annual turnover. For a small ensemble like ours, it is actually impossible to fill this gap of (currently) around € 100.000. We try to make up for lost income in various ways. By looking at what planned activities we can still do, by developing new initiatives but also by asking support from our audience and our listeners. In order to continue our quartet, which has existed for 21 years this year, we must ensure that we minimize losses. We hope that you will help us to become future-proof, so that we can continue to create beautiful concerts, recordings and performances for you.

Because our income may have dried up, but our creativity hasn't yet we have created a fantastic project in 2020: #90seconds
We asked national and international composers to write a 90-second piece for us. It is a colorful collection of pieces from an equally colorful collection of composers. Dutch Radio 4 took care of the audio and visual recordings. For more information about this project, we advise you to keep an eye on facebook  and www.matangi.nl.

Matangi heeft uw steun op dit moment erg nodig. Uw steun zorgt ervoor dat we tijdens deze crisis. Met uw  bijdrage maakt u het mogelijk, dat wij mooie muziek voor iedereen kunnen blijven maken, nieuwe muziek kunnen opnemen en bijzondere projecten kunnen realiseren. Zowel tijdens als na deze periode. De bijdrage is tevens een steun voor de verrijking van de culturele sector. Heel veel dank!

Met Matangi  hadden we een goed gevulde agenda voor het jaar 2020 en 2021. Daardoor komen de consequenties van de coronamaatregelen voor ons extra hard aan. Voor een klein ensemble als het onze is het eigenlijk onmogelijk om dit gat van (momenteel) rond de €100.000 op te vangen. Op verschillende manieren proberen we de misgelopen inkomsten te compenseren. Door te kijken welke geplande activiteiten we nog wel kunnen doen, door nieuwe initiatieven te ontplooien maar ook door steun te vragen aan ons publiek en onze luisteraars. Om ook in de toekomst ons kwartet, dat dit jaar 21 jaar bestaat, voort te kunnen zetten moeten we ervoor zorgen dat we de verliezen zo klein mogelijk zien te houden. We hopen dat u ons wil helpen om toekomstbestendig te worden, zodat we kunnen blijven doorgaan met het creëren van mooie concerten, opnames en voorstellingen voor u.

We hebben binnen en buitenlandse componisten gevraagd om een stuk voor ons te schrijven van 90 seconden. Het is een bonte verzameling stukken van een even bonte verzameling componisten geworden.
