<div><strong>Support Mat &amp; His Family: Facing the Unfair Fight Against MND</strong>
</div>
<div>Hi, my name is Michelle. I am raising funds to help my dear friends, Mat and Hollie and their three beautiful kids through yet another unfair battle.
</div>
<div>After surviving leukaemia twice, a bone marrow transplant, multiple organ failure, life support, and years of recovery, Mat is now facing his toughest battle yet: <strong>Motor Neurone Disease (MND).</strong>
</div>
<div>This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden on Mat, his wife, and their three children, allowing them to focus on what matters most: making memories together, supporting their children's future, and spending precious time as a family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you know Mat, you know he has never backed down from a challenge.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He is a devoted husband, an incredible father to three beautiful children aged 15, 11 and 9, and someone who has spent much of his life fighting battles most of us cannot imagine.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2002, at just 23 years old, Mat was diagnosed with leukaemia and fought his way through treatment. Then, in 2017, at 39 years old, his world was turned upside down again when the leukaemia returned.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the time, Mat and his wife were raising three very young children aged just 6 years, 1 year, and 8 months old.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What followed was a fight for survival.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After undergoing a bone marrow transplant, Mat suffered multiple organ failure, severe infections and spent time on life support. His family faced the terrifying possibility of losing him while caring for three young children who desperately needed their dad. Against overwhelming odds, he survived.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But survival was only the beginning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mat had to learn to walk again and spend years rebuilding his strength. The road back was long, difficult and exhausting, taking three years before he was finally able to return to work and provide for his family once again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After everything he had endured and overcome, life has delivered another heartbreaking blow.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In March this year, at 48 years old, Mat was diagnosed with <strong>Motor Neurone Disease (MND).</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>MND is a progressive disease with no cure. It has forced Mat to stop working and has changed the future he had planned for himself and his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, Mat's focus is not on himself. It is on making the most of every precious moment with his wife and children. It is on being present for his family, celebrating sporting achievements, attending school milestones, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Like any loving father, Mat wants to know his children will be supported in the years ahead. He wants them to have opportunities, continue playing the sports they love, pursue their education and follow their dreams.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the same time, his wife is carrying the enormous responsibility of caring for the family while working tirelessly to keep their small family cleaning business running.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many people have asked how they can help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For those who want to support Mat and his family but aren't sure how, or for family and friends who live too far away to help in person, this fundraiser provides a practical way to make a meaningful difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ease the financial burden on the family and allows them to focus on what matters most: spending precious time together, creating lasting memories, and making the most of every moment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is an opportunity for those who wish to help to stand beside Mat and his family during the toughest chapter of their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why We're Raising Funds
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds raised will help provide financial security for Mat's family, support his children's education and sporting opportunities, assist with everyday living expenses, and allow the family to create special memories together without the constant stress of financial pressure.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Most importantly, it will help give Mat peace of mind knowing his family will continue to be supported in the years ahead.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised will help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• Ease the financial pressure created by Mat's inability to work
</div>
<div>• Support the children's education and future opportunities
</div>
<div>• Assist with ongoing household and living expenses
</div>
<div>• Help cover medical, travel and care-related expenses as needs arise
</div>
<div>• Allow the family to create meaningful memories together without financial stress
</div>
<div>• Provide security and stability for Mat's wife and children in the years ahead
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Mat has spent a lifetime fighting for his family and overcoming unimaginable challenges.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, we're asking for your help to fight for him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping the family in your thoughts, every act of support means more than words can express.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping give Mat and his family the gift of time, memories, and peace of mind.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity and support.
</div>
<div><br />
