MassMutual PR for Puerto Rico
Donation protected
On September 20, 2017 Puerto Rico was hit by Hurricane Maria, a Category 5, the strongest ever to hit a US territory. PR was left without power, water in most areas, communication systems are down, devastation is widespread. Most municipalities in the central, south and east area were destroyed.
We at MassMutual PR started relief efforts as soon as the Hurricane hit. Visiting areas delivering food, water, awnings and tents, batteries among other things to help the families that lost their homes.
The funds we are collecting will be donated to Unidos por Puerto Rico (United for PR) a non for profit organization (501c3) created after Hurricane Irma and continued after Hurricane Maria to help small business, families and communities recuperate from the damage received during the Hurricanes. Unidos for Puerto Rico provides shelter, food and medicines among other things to those in need in those communities. Up to date they have raised $11 million dollars.
Please help us to help more! PR needs it and we can be the conduit to help people in need.
