It’s with the heaviest heart that my family opens up and asks for your help.
What started as a simple bump on the head has turned into the worst news two young parents and our family has ever heard. Mason Hubbard, born March 26th, 2017 to my cousins Sammy and Tyler has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer.
In the last week since he has been diagnosed Mason has undergone surgery and entered an intense chemotherapy treatment. He has received around the clock care from an amazing staff of nurses and doctors at Dartmouth Children’s Hospital and will continue this treatment throughout the next few months.
If you’ve had the pleasure to meet him in the seven short months he’s been on this earth you have witnessed how happy, calm, smiley and loving he is. There’s no doubt that he and his big brother Carson are the great kids they are due to their loving parents.
Mason’s mom and dad are two of the most loving, dedicated, hardworking parents and people I know. Sam and Tyler work tirelessly to provide for their boys and these circumstances have put them both temporarily out of work while they care for their sons and each other.
As you can imagine, being out of work for an extended period can cause a significant financial setback to anyone but especially a young family. I’ve created this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial hardship they have and will continue to incur throughout the next few months of their lives.
