Baby Mason's Medical Fund

Hello everyone - Many of you know but for those who don’t our son Mason is a miracle and fights every single day to become stronger. He stopped breathing in my arms two hours after a long scary birth and was saved after 10 horrifying minutes of CPR. He ended up in the NICU for 17 days where they performed numerous tests but provided little answers. Ultimately we were told Mason had hypotonia (low muscle tone) which is a symptom of a bigger issue. Over the past few weeks we have narrowed down his condition to a Genetic Disorder and/or Muscle Disease.

Mason is now 20 months old and after many months of physical therapy has just started walking. He is continuing to have therapy twice a week to build strength and focus on meeting future milestones. He is such a happy boy, always smiling and laughing and giving mommy and daddy kisses. He loves to watch his favorite show Sushybye and read his favorite book “Goodnight Moon.”

Having a special needs child has made us realize the important things in life, it has been truly humbling. Mason is our world and we love him more than anything, it breaks our heart to see him struggle and we just want to give him the same opportunities as other children.

Over the next few months we have many tests and therapy’s scheduled that Insurance is not willing to cover. We would appreciate your help so that we can get answers for Mason and give him the treatment that he needs.
