FREE HANDMADE MASKS for HEALTHCARE WORKERS and FIRST
RESPONDERS


I have been making masks now for healthcare workers and first responders once the COVID-19 pandemic started but this may be a change we may
become accustomed too when in large groups, crowds or around those most vulverable in our population. I am not sure. It may be awhile before everyone feels safe. But our immune system is a wonderful thing. We do have to be exposed to things in order to build up an immunity to those same things that might harm us.

I have been sewing for over 40 years and did have a large supply of the cotton fabrics that were needed to make these masks to offer some layers of
protection. I was happy to get on board with the thousands of people making masks on facebook groups and other organizations. I put my name on
different lists that were trying to match up sewers with front line workers in great need for masks.

I will keep my Go-Fund-Me page open to help with shipping, fabric and the t-shirts I need that I use for my ties and loops. I now have two different
designs I use (with or without ties) for my donations. The ties work great to keep the mask on snuggly if that is your situation.  The loops alone make it easy to put on and get off.  Both have their own benefits.

My masks come in sizes for adult and child.  Some hospitals are asking for them for children.

I have shipped masks to Helping Hands in Maryland, a Senior Living and Nursing Care facility in Colorado and a hospital in Connecticut. I would love
to be able to do more. I will continue to reach out to the community and the organizations still working hard to fulfill orders.

I think we all like to be found useful and giving to those in need is such rewarding work.
