MASKS FOR FRONTLINE WORKERS - POPE COUNTY, MN

Pope County has always had a strong sense of community! We’re all doing our part to help flatten the curve, but would love to see our community come together to help protect our friends and family members on the frontline of fighting Covid-19 - our healthcare workers, law enforcement, fire department, paramedic crews and child care providers for families serving on the frontline.
This fundraiser was started to provide additional KN95 and other medical-grade masks to the people in our community who may need them most.
There is currently a national shortage on personal protection items - especially the N95 masks that doctors, nurses and anyone caring for a patient suspected of Covid-19 will need to protect themselves. The more funding that we can secure now, the more masks that we’ll be able to proactively obtain for our community’s frontline.
American Solutions for Business has teamed up with their trusted suppliers to immediately secure masks from FDA certified manufacturers overseas. And, have committed to holding $15,000 worth of masks for our community. They’re also planning to kick off the fundraising efforts by donating $2,500, which is equivalent to 1,000 KN95 masks.
Each KN95 mask is $2.50 ea and Level 2 Surgical Masks are $0.85 ea. The prices of these masks may seem higher than usual, but it is due to the increased air freight and high demand for these items to fight this global pandemic.
In partnership with American Solutions for Business, this is our chance to procure masks during a time where supply chain limitations and global competition have created shortages. This will eventually become more apparent as supplies will continue to be routed to large epicenters vs. rural areas. And, typical supply chains will be depleted.
100% of the donations will go to procuring masks from American Solutions for Business and will be delivered to our friends and family members keeping our county safe!
