Warm Meals for Impoverished Kids in Dhaka BD

As we all know, COVID-19 has left many families all over the world in vulnerable and often dangerous situations.
Bangladesh, as a developing, poverty-stricken country, is facing various difficulties to address the situation. Prior to COVID, much of the population already struggled to find shelter and food, let alone houses and nutritious meals.
As such, it is imperative to contribute to the survival, safety, and overall wellbeing of those who are significantly more impacted by the global and local turmoil this virus has caused.
Thousands of children are born into financially strenuous positions in life, leading them to drop out of school early in their educational careers, often to try and make money with aim of attaining something as simple as a meal, that many of us often take for granted.
These children, with minimum or no financial support, are resorting to child labour and exploitation. Not only are they subjects of labour misconduct but they are targets of sexual exploitation as well.
My social platform "We Women" on Facebook has raised funds locally to feed children in need since early March 2020, at the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. As admin of the platform, my family and I have been directly involved in the cooking of food for children in need and we have fed thousands of kids all over Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. We have also raised funds to provide sanitation kits to adolescent girls and masks for children roaming the streets with nowhere else to go.
This GoFundMe is dedicated to providing children who have dropped out of school and parents who have lost their jobs with hot meals on a weekly basis to ensure their health and nutrition. In all, we hope to help the most vulnerable and promising population in Dhaka; impoverished children.
Children are the future of this country. They will create a more just and equitable world.
