Fight COVID-19 on Navajo Nation: Masks Mission

Tax deductible
Want to join COPE and CMU in making a difference? We are raising awareness and funds to benefit the Navajo Nation, where the number of COVID-19 cases is higher than in all other American Indian Nations combined. This effort is organized by Community Outreach and Patient Empowerment (COPE) and the My Mask Saves Lives Research Team from Central Michigan University and Washington State University.  The My Masks Saves Lives Research Team has partnered with the Great Lakes Amish who are producing masks that will be sent to Navajo. Donations will pay for Amish labor, mask materials, and packaging and shipping.

Our mission is to raise funds towards the creation of science-informed, washable, and reusable protective face masks and deliver them to Navajo communities in need of reducing the spread of COVID-19

Thank you for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

More information about Community Outreach and Patient Empowerment Inc (COPE): The COPE team is coordinating and implementing a multi-faced action plan to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 in both Gallup, NM as well as the surrounding tribal lands.  Collaborations like this one make it possible to strengthen our capabilities and reach.  http://www.copeprogram.org
