In 2019, 244 children and their families benefitted from Early Childhood Education, 543 household members were impacted by the Ballard Center's emergency services, and 4,727 household members used the Ballard Center's food pantry services.
Their vision: "Ensuring that all children, particularly those who come from low-income households, have access to an affordable high-quality early childhood education. We know that children learn better when they are not hungry, worrying about where they are going to stay, or if they are going to have a warm place to sleep. To this end, Ballard provides wrap-around support to families through our food pantry, clothing closets, emergency assistance programs, and other initiatives run through the Ballard Center."
