Hey everyone! This is the Massillo Family.

Connor & Ellie have a very rough road ahead of them. Due to complications, they were forced to deliver their little princess by c-section at just 25 weeks along. Lillian Mae was born on May 8th, weighing just 1 lb.  She was able to breath on her own for 2 whole hours!

Her brothers were overfilled with joy to meet their little sister over Mother’s Day weekend.

Due to being premature, Lilly is currently on the vent to help her relax and let her body grow stronger. This last week, they have had to do blood transfusions, as well as change her vent. They found out that her heart valve was too large.  So they are focussing on medicine to help for right now seeing as she is too small for anything else.

On top of all the stress, Connor & Ellie made a trip home Sunday afternoon to get some rest. Being home for a few short hours, they then received a call saying Lilly wasn’t in good shape. At 8:00 that evening they turned back around and headed back for the children’s hospital in Dayton, OH. That’s when things took an even worse turn...they were in a head on collision.  Pictured above is Ellie’s car. Though only bumps and bruises, she is still trying to recover from her c-section. So now along with a baby girl in rough shape, they have a totaled vehicle.

Connors parents have been so wonderful in stepping in to help care for their home, as well as their precious fur baby Porter. Porter is a rescue from the Van Wert Humane Society.

At this time, Connor has been unable to work and being new to his company he does not have any leave or vacation time built up. Ellie is able to receive a portion of her regular pay. They also, are having to spend numerous days/weeks/months without seeing or spending much time with Ellie’s 2 older boys Connor & Zachary. Though the boys are patient & understanding, it’s a difficult time as they miss their momma very much along side of Connor and their new baby sister.

Being born so prematurely, the young couple were unable to be quite prepared enough for when baby Lillian is able to make her journey home.  They’re in need of most baby items aside from a crib.

So at this time, out of the kindness of your hearts I am asking that we pull together to help this family at such a rough time in their lives. They have a LONG ROUGH journey ahead of them. Now having to find a new car, pay medical expenses, take care of Lilly, they need all of the financial and emotional support they can get. I have set a goal of $5,000 to help with anything they may need. Also if you have any items you’d like to donate instead of money, anything is appreciated.

419-605-6284 is my number and you may call or text if you have any donations you’d like to make. Thank you all so much in advance, this family deserves all the help everyone is willing to give.
