For the Love of Mary

Hello, my name is Ka Yang, and on Wednesday, December 20th, out of the goodness of her heart, my beautiful niece, Mary Summer Vang, offered to help make eggrolls for my work Christmas Party. She had gotten up early and was in the process of wrapping eggrolls, while heating the oil in a frying pan. The oil caught fire, and Mary acted quickly. She bravely carried the pan out and extinguished the fire, saving our home and the neighbors in our building. However, in doing so, burning oil spilled on her, causing 3rd Degree burns on her forearms and her lower legs. She is now in the Burn Unit of the HCMC Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She is projected to be in the hospital for a minimum of two weeks. She will have to spend Christmas and New Year's away from family and friends. While we are certain that she will recover, she has a long road ahead of her. We are asking for your help with Mary's medical expenses. This is important because we need your help in keeping Mary focused on her emotional and physical well-being to heal. No donation is too small, and any proceeds go directly to her expenses.
