Monmouth University’s Shadow PR Firm & PRSSA Chapter is hosting its first annual Melodies by the Sea– a 3-hour concert fundraiser at Monmouth University on Shadow Lawn on Thursday, April 9th.
In addition to offering a fun-filled night with great food, music, contests, and games, Melodies by the Sea will feature a silent auction with all proceeds benefitting Mary’s Place by the Sea, a place where women with cancer can heal their minds, bodies, and souls.
Mary’s Place by the Sea is a not-for-profit organization founded by Maria McKeon and Michele Gannon, after she was balancing her life while recovering from an illness.
Since January 2009, over 4,000 women have taken advantage of the free services provided by Mary’s Place by the Sea. During their stay, visitors receive oncological massages, nutritional counseling and special cooking classes, yoga, and many other forms of relaxation.
Located in Ocean Grove, NJ, Mary’s Place by the Sea is supported entirely on contributions of good-hearted people and time donated by volunteers. To find out more information, please visit marysplacebythesea.org.
