Hello dear friends,
August marked the beginning of my “new life”, it was then that I discovered that I have stage 4 ovarian cancer, meaning it has traveled all throughout my body.
Following some bouts with other infections, these past four months have been filled with ambulance rides, hospital stays, and life saving surgery. Past pleasures such as dog walking, mosaic tile making, and theater productions had to go on the wayside. I’m learning to utilize a cane and walker this is all so new and sudden.
I could never imagine things to progress this quickly. In just four months, I struggle with basic things and I’m unable to participate in the things I love. Even eating and walking are challenging for me. I can’t believe something so short and sudden could have such control over my body already.
My friends have encouraged me to reach out to GoFundMe and PayPal to help with these past expenses and the ones to come. Thank you for reading this and for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. I just had my first Chemotherapy session last week and I’m back in the hospital now. I am looking forward to going back to my old life.
