Mary statue for the Trinitarians

Amongst the difficult times right now in our world, there are still beautiful things happening that we have to hold onto to help us get through. My family and I went to the Trinitarians of Mary in Lowell, MI, who are a contemplative order of nuns, this past week to help with some yard work. While there, we saw a beautiful rose garden they had just built. Someone had donated many rose bushes and they felt they were called to make a “Rosary Garden” for Mary. They had stated that they were praying that God would provide a Mary statue for them to put at the head of the cross that goes through the middle of the garden. There is a big rock in place at the top of the cross waiting for Mary to be placed there. On the feast of Ascension Thursday our family went to St. Isidore to pray the rosary at the outside Marian grotto. While there, I felt called to help the sisters in either finding an outdoor statue that might be sitting in a church’s or family’s storage not being used or helping by acquiring the funds to purchase the statue. I am asking several things. The first is to please pray that they will be able to get the funds needed to purchase a statue or that someone will have one to donate. The second is to prayerfully consider donating towards the statue. I know there are many who have lost their jobs and they are just trying to get by with paying their bills and putting food on the table, so if you are not able to donate at this time, I do understand but if you could please pray and spread the word. The third is to please forward this to anyone you know who would be willing to help us. The Trinitarians have helped so many people in so many different ways, let’s give them a beautiful gift in return.
