My friend, Mary McDonnell, (along with her son Michael and Chris Gay) lost their home in Mountain Center to the Cranston Fire on
July 25, 2018. I would like to help them by raising some money to help them through this difficult time. Mary is a big friend to animals and people and will need help rebuilding their home and life on the mountain. If you can help, in any amount, it would be greatly appreciated. P.S. Mary’s horse, Breeze, was found dead.
He was not burned, but was very old and ill and probably died from the stress of the fire situation.
P.S. Another horse, Hewey, who was being boarded with Mary, had to be put to sleep the other day. The burns he sustained became infected, the infection travelled and antibiotics didn’t help. RIP Hewey...
