Mary Louise Bedard's Well Water

Mary Louise is one of the most beloved kindergarten teachers in our community. Her in-home Waldorf program has enriched the lives of many children and their families for over two decades. This school year began without running water due to the well running dry. Over the years she has experienced water shortages, but the well usually recovers. This time it hasn't. A local company came to drill the well deeper, and still no water came. Further work was done to try and clear the veins to help the water flow again, however, this may not work, and a new well may need to be drilled in another location. So far this work has cost $10k. Mary Louise's family does not have the financial means to cover this huge unexpected expense. Any money raised will help defray the cost and allow us to help bring running water back to her home and school. As Mary Louise's assistant, I see daily the support she gives to the children, their families, and the community. I am honored and grateful to be a recipient and a witness of this support.
