Marion M. Jones is organizing this fundraiser for my mom and my other siblings to help with funeral costs.

I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of our Beloved Mom Mary L. Young. She departed quietly and unexpectedly. She had just attended a baby shower for her granddaughter and everyone was saying how beautiful my mom looked.

More About Our Mom

Mary L Young 82, of Fredericksburg VA, born in St.Marys Maryland, transitioned from this life into eternal rest on December 12, 2023. Mary was the oldest of 6 siblings. Mary was joined in holy matrimony by the late Thomas N Young.

Her love was genuine to all, extending beyond blood ties, as she always showed up for those who needed an extra dose of affection. She was the “Queen of Love” and everyone felt that around her. I asked her on our last talk did she knew all of her grandkids’ names and she said yes and “I love all of you guys”.

We are absolutely devastated by our mom’s passing and are asking for assistance to find the funds to cover the cost of the funeral service. The financial strain of the celebration of life and other related costs has added an enormous weight to our already grieving hearts. We are humbly reaching out to our friends, family members, and community for support during this trying time.
