UPDATE FROM JAN HOLZMANN WEIKEL:
Our Mary has finally been moved out of the Boerne nursing home to a beautiful, more accommodating, skilled nursing facility in Schertz. She was easily transported by her boys and her husband and greeted by her sibs niece and nephew. Mary was so happy as the staffers greeted her on her way to her room. Got her room all set up and her delicious dinner arrived. She has a sweet friendly roommate whom we all just loved. This will be very costly and could not have happened without the generous donations of her awesome friends and family. She's now a 15 min trip for most of her family instead of an hour to hour and a half on a crowded highway. There aren't words to express the gratitude that we all feel to each and every one of you for the sake of our Mary for making this possible. She will get the very best care and multiple hours of much needed therapy hopefully to regain more mobility. We love you and God bless you.

Thank you , thank you , thank you, from the bottom of hearts , we thank you for the support you have shown for Mary. It is obvious that you love her as much as we do. Your support has been overwhelming. Yet, we still need your support. Mary will have a long road to recovery. We hope to get her the best Physical therapist, speech therapist and OC therapist that we can find. Plus we need to get her the best medical help we can afford. Our sweet friend Mary Holzmann Snell needs help to undergo inpatient rehabilitation services after suffering a massive stroke. She will require skilled nursing as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy for an unknown length of time.
