Mary and John's Healing Fund

13 years ago my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. This news was alarming to all of us but most of all my father, and her loving husband, John. As all warriors do with news like this, they together fought the good fight and my mother was cancer free for quite a long period of time. Life went on, as it does, but this awful disease crept its way back into our lives. Once again we banned together with my father John on the front lines, again taking the lead to battle this disease. My mother Mary, after getting recent news of her current treatment not providing the positive we had hoped for, is now ready to start a new more aggressive therapy in the Beginning of June 2017. John was there for her as usual planning trips to the hospital for my mom, and working on scheduling and making sure she would not want for anything and being her rock. Things unfortunately took a downward slide, and at the end of May 2017, John was rushed to the hospital having suffered a brainstem stroke. He currently does not have the ability to care for Mary the way he had planned, or the way any of us anticipated. This tragic unforeseen event has had devastating effects one the whole family, most of all John & Mary, BUT we will still fight. Our goal is with combined efforts we can make things as easy as possible for two amazing people who deserve to be loved, as much as they love each other.
