Mary & Gary Hurricane Relief

When Hurricane Florence struck the North Carolina coast, it took the house of my mother, Mary and my stepfather Gary in Newport, North Carolina. Along with everything in it. The house is a total loss. They are left not only with the task of rebuilding their home, but rebuilding their lives. 

If you know Mary or Gary, you know they are always the first to help. Now, they need ours. The house they lost harbored not only Mary & Gary but Gary’s daughter Brittany and her 3 year old son, Colton.  With the loss of the house comes everything in it. Clothes, appliances, furniture and memories. 

This fundraiser is designed for three reasons.

 1- To help the family cover bills and recooperation cost. 
2 - To help the family cover expenses of being displaced.
3 - To show them just how much they have helped us and mean to us.

Even through a devastating event like this, their spirits remain lifted.  They have helped and inspired many of us when we needed it most in our lives.
