Marty's Pine Box
Donation protected
My best friend, and husband, Marty Berryman passed away Tuesday October 10, 2017. He meant the world to a lot of people, but the most to me, and our 2 children.
As a running joke, Marty would always say to bury him in a pine box, in the mountains. The mortuary just happens to have a beautiful pine casket, with a picture of a mountain side embroidered inside.
On a more serious note...Marty wanted his funeral to cost his family as little as possible, hence the pine box. We were not expecting to have to pay for a funeral at age 50, and have the loss of his income. Funerals, I am finding are not cheaply done no matter what casket is purchased.
Marty was definitely not a flower kind of guy, so in lieu of flowers, I ask a donation to contribute to his "pine box" casket.
Thank you with all of my heart
