My Volunteer Trip

Hi friends and family! This October I will be taking a trip to Peru to work for my cousin at her ministry called Rosa's Smile. For those of you who are not aware with Rosa's Smile it is a nonprofit organization that is committed to serving at-risk and disadvantaged children primarily living in orphanages. Many of the children they work with are born into poverty,  children with disabilities are left to the streets to fend for themselves and young girls are forced into prostitution. Rosa's Smile gives these kids a chance to actually live like children and to go to school, it provides them with a support system and most importantly a family that loves them. 

The funds raised through this will contribute to traveling expenses, which will cost close to $1500, and to make a donation to this organization which will be used for supplies for the kids at the orphanages.  Every dollar counts so please don't hesitate to make a donation regardless of how small it might be. 

For those of you that know my story you'll understand how much working with these kids, especially these fragile girls, will mean to me. No tiny human deserves to be forced into a lifestyle of child exploitation, it destroys a child's innocence and forces them to grow up so much faster than they deserve. I'm looking forward to offering these kids everything that I can, but I know I'll receive so much more in return.
