Shafer Family

We are looking to help out this family as they try to move forward with their lives after the tragic passing of their beloved daughter and sister Lydia.

Lydia was diagnosed in May 2016 with Cancer and unfortunately lost her fight August 8, 2017.  

Martin, Lydia's father was by her side every step of the way as she went through numerous surgeries (I believe 6) and multiple trips to ER.  He had put his life on hold to take care of her and provide whatever support she needed whether it be just showing compassion/love, providing transportation to appointments or food runs, renovations for accessibility, holding her hand and many other actions a loving parent could provide.

Previously, there was a generous outpouring to help support him as he took time off work to be by her side and now we are asking for some more kindness to help him and his family during their grieving process until they are strong enough to try and rebuild their lives without her physically but in memory.

The donations will go straight to the family to cover expenses incurred during her illness.
