New Martin for Jeff Bauman

We've done it! Between this page and the amazingly good people around me who have been handing me cash all week we have raised $3000. We're trying to raise money to pay for a brand new Martin Acoustic Electric for Jeff Bauman. Jeff was struck tragically by one of the bombs at the Boston Marathon on Monday 4/15/13 and has a long road ahead of him on his way to recovery. As a music lover and an avid guitar player some of his close friends and I believe that having a brand new Martin hanging around will do wonders for his recovery both mentally and physically. My name is Dave Turner and I've been a co-worker and friend of Jeffs for about 4 years now. I'm from Pepperell, MA and have spent many a summer night working out Beatles and Bob Dylan tunes with Jeff in my backyard. When I saw the pictures of Jeff on the internet (before I heard anything from anybody) I was first in shock however a warm feeling came over me when I realized that regardless of his injuries it appeared as though he ought to be able to still play guitar, and knowing that, I know he'll be alright.
