Martin's House

Dear Friends and Family,

If you want to give yourself an early Christmas present, you're at the right place!

This amazing human named Martin has spina bifida and has been sitting in a wheel chair all his life. As we sat together and talked during my last visit to Tanzania, I wanted to find out what he and his mom needed most. Turns out they need their own HOME (so they don't need to live in constant fear of being thrown out of the house that was temporarily provided to them by the church). So guess what?? I decided to have a wheelchair accessible house built for them! For only USD 5,000 that is possible in Tanzania and we can actually CHANGE THEIR LIVES! Just think about it - we can build a  HOME for these two beautiful humans that they so urgently need!

The planning phase is completed and the house builders are ready to go. The deadline to raise the funds is October 31, since we will need to start building by then so it is finished when I return to Tanzania in mid-December: the perfect Christmas present!  I will be able to take photos and videos of Martin and his mom living in their own (wheelchair friendly!) house and we will celebrate together!
