On Sunday November 19, 2017 at 11:30pm my son Martin Fernandez, Marty to all who knew him, was brutally murdered, he was only 21. He wasn't out clubbing, it wasn't his style, he wasnt somewhere he shouldn't have been, he was home with the love of his life, Sydney, My little boy should have been safe. The rest of the details of this nightmare I can't bring myself to put down. Many of you who knew Marty and Sydney and know me already have most of the story.
Now we have to put my son to rest, I don't know how much it will cost exactly, it's something I never thought about, no parent should. Looking at the raw numbers I'm projecting close to $20,000.00. Pulling from what we have, from family and friends we should come up with close to 15. I would not be asking the world at large but we are on a time limit, we need to have everything by Thursday 11/30.
The details for the service will be made this Friday and we will make sure everyone knows them. For those who would attend and bring flowers, instead would you be so kind as to make a contribution, anything would help. Please help us put Marty to rest.
