Martial Art Innovations & Goldenmonkey Yoga

My name is Tina Ramirez, and I am a Parent Volunteer @Martial Art Innovations and Goldenmonkey Yoga Studio in Covina, California. I am raising money to help support both businesses during a pandemic to help keep the studio alive. My dear friends, Mr Don Frack, and his wife, Ms Gigi Frack are the proud owners of Martial Art Innovations, a mixed martial arts school here in Covina, that offers self defense classes to students 2 1/2 years old thru adults. Mr Frack has been the head instructor for the martial arts school for just over 30 years. In which all most all of the time has been in the City of Covina. Mrs Frack runs her yoga studio, offering a variety of classes from prenatal all the way thru seniors. Friends, they need our help. They need our help now. Prior to Covid, they were just making ends meet, after having to move locations to their former place being sold right out from under them. They lost the lease, having to move merely a few months before celebrating their 25th Anniversary in that location. And now that just more than 3 months have passed due to Covid, they’ve barely just been allowed to open their doors and hold in person classes again. During this long, stressful time, they’ve lost 25 students due to the pandemic. They are in dire need of financial help to pay the bills just to keep the doors open. So I come to you, friends, family, the community, asking for ANY help you can give to help us keep the doors open. Both Mr & Mrs Frack are wonderful people, they put everyone’s needs above their own. If a student wants to take their classes, but has difficulty paying, they consistently work with the family to make sure the children can still come and learn self defense. Even if that means they can’t pay at the time. Their hearts are in it for the love of teaching, not about the money. Both Mr & Mrs Frack give back to the community. Mrs Frack offers FREE Community Yoga Saturday mornings for years. Only asking for donations of possible for her time. Mr Frack holds self defense seminars for teens and adults for FREE from time to time. To help teach the community how to protect themselves from an active shooter, also teaching simple first aid techniques. Running through these scenarios, help regular people practice these techniques, so that God forbid they actually happen in real life, one can know what to do and help someone. Again, I ask that if you can spare anything at all to help these great people stay on their feet, and continue to teach our future generations self defense, good morals, great judgement, discipline, respect, honor, and how to relax/meditate for mind, body, and soul. Every single cent will go towards the school and their living expenses during this difficult time.
