Medical expenses for Martha

A couple of weeks ago my mom, Martha Robles, had a medical emergency. After a few days of being unable to keep any food down and experiencing severe stomach pains, we took her to the emergency room at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital.

After a series of tests, doctors found that she had an intestinal blockage, and had to perform emergency explorative surgery. The doctors found that she had been suffering from untreated endometriosis. They then performed a surgery to remove the masses caused by endometriosis. The surgery resulted in removal of 6 inches of the large intestine and placement of a temporary ostomy bag.

She was hospitalized for two weeks, and is temporarily disabled, leaving her unable to work and unable to return to work due to the physical demands of her job.

Unfortunately my mom does not have medical coverage. We can not afford to pay for any medical supplies needed to maintain the ostomy bag, the hospital bill, or for the reattachment surgery required in two months.
