Martha's Kayak

Martha Leider passed away on November 6, 2017 from Metastatic Breast Cancer.  Her passion was nature and animals and her joy was kayaking and spending time with "her swans" in Island Park, NY.  Nothing gave her more peace and happiness.

Martha's Kayak is going to be a not for profit organization with the goal of sharing Martha's joy in kayaking while fighting this insidious disease.  As a not for profit we will work with cancer patients and survivors to ensure they experience kayaking and nature.

Matha's kayak will provide weekend retreats to patients and survivors who complete an application or who are nominated by a loved one or friend for a kayaking experience.

The goal is to become a national philanthropic organization working with many local kayaking organizations to provide kayaking and accomodation services for patients and survivors.

Please help us stand up this organization.  Note: Donations are not currently tax deductible until we obtain IRS 501 (c)(3) status. 

Once the organization is formed, remaining monies will be transferred to the organization.
