Martha’s bucket list: help her live her best life

The Birth Center got hit with some devastating news this week - one of our own, one of our leaders, one of our loudest voices, is very sick. Our good friend & co worker, Martha Galvez, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. With all of the grace & strength in the world, she has chosen to live out the rest of her life with friends, family, doing the things she loves, and knocking some things off of her bucket list. 

Martha helped raise most of us as baby nurses. She never took crap from patients or doctors. She never complained about an assignment. She would come in extra, frequently, to help out on the unit. She stood up for what was right, not only on our unit, but as the chair of our nursing Union. And her hair was always perfect!

Martha has always fought & rallied for what is right, not only for our unit, but for the hospital as a whole, so now it is time for us to rally for her. Please help us raise money towards her bucket list items, including a trip to Italy!
