Help support our sister and friend, Martha Brooke Hopkins, in her battle against breast cancer. Martha's breast cancer has metastasized to Stage 4. It has been found in her lymphatic system and is currently being detected throughout her body. Tests and her personal pain show the cancer is also in her bones, causing significant damage throughout her body.
A fundraiser is being launched to provide $75,000 in support by April 28, 2018 (Martha’s 46th birthday). Gifts help to pay her medical bills and lift an incredible weight from her shoulders.

Ever since Martha was a little girl, she had an amazing gift of being able to delight and entertain others. As stunning a young actress and model, she captured our hearts and held our attention like no other! Combining her fearlessness on stage, her witty jokes, and clever sense of humor, with her love of pleasing others, Martha became a tremendous sales trainer --- not to mention the faithful friend, amazing sister, and super-fun person we all love to be with!
Fast forward to 2010. Martha arrives in Pennsylvania to be with her dear friend and new romantic partner, Peter. They fall in love, Martha becomes a second mother to Peter’s sons, they raise two labradoodles, and 7 years later (along with a rather interesting detour to Portland), they are finally married on August 19, 2017. A small circle of dear friends and family from across the country converge in Connecticut to celebrate this very happy union of Martha and Peter!
Mysteriously and very shortly after their fairy-tale wedding, Martha started noticing some aches and pains in her bones when she walked, and a swelling in her left breast. None of these symptoms gave Martha any clues that she might have breast cancer. But when she went to the doctor in mid-January, the early diagnosis was “100% breast cancer.” And then the tests began. And more tests. Sadly, the tests still continue to learn the extent her breast cancer has spread through her body and to determine if other treatments should be added to her oncology protocol.
Martha’s treatments have begun, and we are all focused on the “positives” to celebrate what we can. But the stress of her health, waiting for the results of the next round of tests, and the financial burdens she and Peter face are overwhelming.
So many of you who love Martha have asked, “what can we do to help?” Assuming you are already praying for Martha’s healing and peace for both Martha and Peter, there is something you can do right away. Martha's treatments have begun and we are all focused on the "positives" to celebrate what we can. But with the spread of cancer throughout her body, the stress of her health waiting for the results of the next round of tests, and the financial burdens she and Peter face are overwhelming.
Frankly, we don't know how much help we will need over time. We just hope we can count on you to help relieve the financial stress they face right now.
