Martas Last Adventure

Marta was an adventurous, outgoing, one of a kind individual. She loved traveling, skiing, hiking and being a part of everyones life, especially her family's. Unfortunately in May of 2017 she was diagnosed with a terminal illness, she tried all kinds of homeopathic treatments, and herbal medications that would possibly cure her. She didnt want to be in a hospital, instead she wanted to spend time with her family traveling and exploring.  As her illness progressed she got weaker with time. She was slowly limited to her abilities of going outside of home, but that didnt stop her from spending quality time with the family. On November 6th she went for a scheduled appointment with her doctor, she walked into his office and he couldnt believe his eyes. Unfortunately that visit resulted in a 2 week hospital stay, she was faced with low odds of surviving an emergency surgery that they performed and also recovering her normal body functions in the ICU. She was admitted into Hospice Inn given only few days to live but she pulled through and came home. While she was home she knew the end was near and made her final wishes; One of the most important being that she wanted to go back home to Ukraine and be buried in the family plot beside her grandfather. The funds gatherered will strictly be used for transportation and  burial in her final resting place.
