Main Speakers for Music Community

Hello! I am Shane Rendon, and I have a major passion for performing arts. Those of you that know me, know I'm the sound guy at The Marshmellow Jam (a 3 day biannual music festival in rural east Texas that echoes woodstock vibes). I have been attending this festival since it's first day to be called Marshmellow Jam and have been operator of the stage for 8 years now.
I work this show at a pro-rate that doesn't even cover the weekends expenses, and I take off work to attend. This is by no means a complaint.... I'll gladly continue to work this show at the same rates till at last I take my final breath, because I believe in it's importantance in Texas music culture... however I cannot afford to keep up with the equipment demands of such a growing festival and community... So today I'm turning to crowd funding in hopes that my Marshmellow community and any one else in my network might understand and help me obtain the necessary tools to help a community of artist continue to grow.
Slowly over the years I have narrowed in and improved a PA system from an economy of means set up to something rather professional, minus one very important piece.... FOH main speakers...
Given the nature of the equipment it is a rather expensive, and definitely important part of the signal chain.
Christian Deibert at Goodshed Studio in Canton, TX has seen this need and offered me an excellent deal on a pair of QSC KW153s, which are honestly ideal for compatibility with our needs and existing equipment. Christian offered to sell me the pair for $2000 which is a great deal!!! Given the current economic climate for people in my industry, however, I cannot afford the speakers even at such a steal. So I'm reaching out to my community for help securing great quality speakers for our artists and listeners!!! I can cover the remaining $800 if we can, as a community, come up with the first $1200. Then the Marshmellow Jam, and all other community events I work would have a complete PA without borrowing gear or running all over East TX to part it out. It would be a major advancement for the jam and my life in general...
This same rig I've been building and borrowing has not only been used at the jam. I have run sound at many community events which have consistently cost me money over the years. Sourcing gear picking up and moving gear around the state for day rates under $100. I lost money every time I threw a show or came out to run sound for anything...
Including but not limited to...
Marshmellow Jam
ETX Music Awards
Celebrating The Texan
Underground Arts Fair

All of these shows cost me a lot of money, sweat, and time through the years... but I love it, and I've continued to push forward and I plan to continue doing just that, and keep giving to a musical community that has given me so much. I can say with certainty that I believe investing in these speakers is investing in an entire subculture. I believe in this rising tide, and if you do too, please consider contributing in this way!!!

Thanks for your time and support, y'all!
I really hope I can reach this goal and bring audio quality to our community!!
