Marshalltown Tree Restoration

An EF3 tornado struck the community of Marshalltown, Iowa on July 19, 2018. The organization is formed by alumni of Marshalltown High School to provide disaster relief and recovery to the community with a focus on tree restoration. Currently, we are focused on five key projects:

1. We have agreed to replace over 50 trees lost at the Iowa Veterans Home.

2. “Trees for Vets”    We will replace trees for Marshalltown Veteran homeowners.

3. “Trees for Grandpa & Grandma”  We are launching a Senior Citizens re-planting program.

4. We will work with Marshalltown’s “Trees Forever” committee on public property projects.

5. Will fund “In Memoriam” tree plantings with ID tags.

Mark your calendars! The Fund Drive will end next year on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at a “MHS All Alumni Picnic Celebration” at Riverview Park.
