Marshall Peterson Legal Fund

My brother, Marshall, is facing the scariest time of his life.  Earlier this month he was forced to display his weapon to discourage an imminent threat and is now being wrongly prosecuted on felony charges.  He has had his conceal and carry permit for 7 years. 

Marshall is a guy who pays forward every day of his life with his service to others.  He shovels and plows his neighbors’ driveways and walks, he does automotive repairs for all his friends and family into the late hours of the night and is back at work at 7 a.m. and will answer your 3 a.m. call without hesitation.  He works 50-60 hours a week to make ends meet and provide for his family, including a wife and two teenage sons.   He is here at my home in a heartbeat to help me with all my emergency household repairs and is the most hard-working person I know.  He started bagging groceries at a local grocery store when he was 15 years old and has worked full-time since ever since then.  He has recently fallen on hard times with insurmountable medical bills for his wife and one of his children which have forced him to file bankruptcy.  With the pending charges against him, this is easily the most difficult time of his life and we want to do all we can to help him through this, just as he helps others in need.  We love Marshall with all our hearts and I hope this shines through in the family photo which I’ve shared.   In the photo of the 5 of us, he is the one on the right in the blue shirt next to our mother.   In the other photo he is the one in the tan sweater on my right.

He needs the right attorney to defend him against these charges.  Our family doesn’t ask for handouts but we simply cannot cover all his legal expenses alone (our parents are in their early 70’s and still working full-time) so I’ve started this Go Fund Me on his behalf.
